Special receptions are your opportunity to meet members of the Undergraduate Admissions staff and leadership, as well as learn more about Alabama from the perspective of a current student, parent of a current student and a distinguished keynote speaker. These events also provide you an opportunity to mingle with alumni of the University of Alabama and get to know other students interested in UA in a formal but relaxed environment.
While there is no official dress code, most guests will find themselves comfortable in business casual attire.
Yes, heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served along with light beverages.
The event will last approximately an hour and a half.
We encourage all interested students to attend their junior and senior years to hear all the new and exciting facts about the University of Alabama. Each year, you will hear from new speakers and have the opportunity to meet with other students and families interested in learning more about the University of Alabama.
Receptions are your opportunity to hear directly from and mingle with University officials, administrators, staff and students to learn about how the University is equipping students with the tools necessary to achieve their goals in a vibrant and fulfilling college atmosphere.
